The double suction centrifugal fan is a double suction structure added on the basis of the traditional centrifugal fan. The advantage of this structure is that it can enter the air from both directions at the same time, greatly improving the gas transmission capacity and efficiency of the fan. Double inlet centrifugal fan has wide application range, strong conveying capacity and high efficiency.

DKT double-inlet fans are almost exclusively used in the following areas of commercial and industrial large-scale central air conditioning (HVAC) systems:

• Air Handling Units (AHUs) / Combination Air Handling Units

This is the most core and typical application. DKT fans serve as the "heart" of the entire air handling unit, providing circulating power for the whole building.

Function: They transport treated (cooled, heated, filtered, humidified, or dehumidified) air, forcing it through ducts to various rooms or areas, while also extracting return air from indoors for reprocessing, forming a complete cycle.

Applicable Buildings:

• Large commercial buildings: High-end office buildings, shopping malls, large retail centers, hotels.

• Public facilities: Airport terminals, train stations, subway stations, hospitals, schools, libraries, museums.

• Industrial facilities: Pharmaceutical plants, electronic clean rooms, food processing plants, and other venues requiring precise environmental control.

• Fan Coil Units Used in some large or higher static pressure fan coil systems.

• Industrial Ventilation Systems

    Though less common than in HVAC applications, they can also be used for comprehensive ventilation and air exchange in factory workshops.
