The double suction centrifugal fan is a double suction structure added on the basis of the traditional centrifugal fan. The advantage of this structure is that it can enter the air from both directions at the same time, greatly improving the gas transmission capacity and efficiency of the fan. Double inlet centrifugal fan has wide application range, strong conveying capacity and high efficiency.

These double-inlet centrifugal blower fans are almost exclusively used in the following areas of commercial and industrial large-scale central air handing unit system:

• Air Handling Units (AHUs) / Combination Air Handling Units

This is the most core and typical application. They transport treated (cooled, heated, filtered, humidified, or dehumidified) air, forcing it through ducts to various rooms or areas, while also extracting return air from indoors for reprocessing, forming a complete cycle.
