An Air Handling Unit (AHU) is the heart of an HVAC system, responsible for conditioning and distributing treated air. A typical AHU core comprises a fan, filters, heat exchange coils, and a control system. The AHU fan, acting as the core driving unit, determines system efficiency based on its selection and installation. In modular air handling units, it often functions as an industrial centrifugal fan positioned at the rear to provide power. In contrast, within FFU systems, it is integrated into the top module as a high static pressure EC fan to create vertical unidirectional airflow for cleanrooms.
